It's been so long, I had to rewatch all of season 1 just to refresh my memories before watching season 2. And it was worth it. I got a newfound appreciation for the series.

So fun to see Kitora telling him that he thought everyone in Border would always help him and be nice, to a point where he didn't have to bow his head anymore and just expect it of everyone.

Honestly this was better than expected, I'm quite intrigued for the next season

A-ranks have the benefits of custom made trigger weapon (but is only restricted on border issued weapons and not the ones tamakoma squad uses)

They're really going to keep some ranking games going (in which agents' power is depleted leaving them potentially helpless/unhelpful), and most of their overall organization in the dark, while a full-scale invasion of unknown forces and intent is happening? Okay then. Interesting choices...

The invading countries are smaller than meeden and jin didn't saw a terrible future so..

But he's not omnipotent and can only see so far and the outcomes often shift... so while it may have seemed unlikely to be a serious threat, there is always a chance that something could go awry. Just seems like when faced with definite danger even of questionably low level, a military/defense organization should put more focus on being fully informed, alert, and ready should any potential need arise.

Only six squads are tied in the rank wars though so it isn't that big of a loss

It made sense to hide it from the public, but not their own members. Even if they are still partially in training, they are supposed to be learning how to deal with threats like that, mentally and directly, so if the truth and reality causes them to panic so easily, then... they probably shouldn't be there in the first place.

I always love how they compete for rank but if you're not in the same rank, they don't mind helping you get better. (only if you're close to the main characters of course -the C rank sniper wouldn't get help by Ema and the other rank A sniper if she wasn't Chika's friend of course) Because at the end of the day, they just make the collective defense force stronger by doing it. (and not just the game known as Rank War)
